The Legacy of Shree Krishna Handicraft & AllGoodsly: A Journey Since 1940

My name is Suraj Goyal, and I am the CEO of Shree Krishna Handicraft (AllGoodsly). Our company is built on a rich family heritage and is supported by more than 1,000 skilled and experienced artisans and workers who are dedicated to preserving traditional craftsmanship.

Our journey began in 1940, when my grandfather, Shri Bhanuwar Lal Goyal, established a small outlet named Udaipur Art outside the famous City Palace Udaipur in Rajasthan, India. He was a renowned artist who specialized in creating exquisite handmade paintings on silk fabric. His artwork often depicted royal palaces, romantic scenes, hunting stories, and traditional Rajasthani culture.

One of the most remarkable aspects of his work was that all colors used in the paintings were completely handmade from natural vegetable-based ingredients. No chemical colors were used. Some of his masterpieces were even created using real gold and real silver, making them truly unique works of art.

His contribution to Indian art was recognized by the Government of India, and his name and photograph were featured in Rajasthan Tourism publications. Even today, many of his paintings are displayed in historic forts, museums, and cultural collections across India.

A memorable chapter in our history occurred during the filming of the famous James Bond movie Octopussy in Udaipur. During the production, actor Roger Moore visited my grandfather's shop with his wife. They purchased several handmade paintings, and my grandfather personally handcrafted a leather writing journal for him. This experience inspired him to expand the business into the production of handmade leather journals and notebooks, which became another important part of our product range.

Later, my father, Ravindra Goyal, joined the business and helped grow it further after completing his education. My younger brother Vikas Goyal and I also joined the family business to continue our grandfather's legacy.

After the passing of my grandfather, our family remained committed to preserving and expanding the business. Over the years, customers from around the world encouraged us to bring our products online so that people who could not visit India could still enjoy authentic handmade craftsmanship.

Following this advice, we started selling our products on major e-commerce platforms. However, we found that high marketplace fees often increased costs for customers. To provide better value and a more direct shopping experience, we launched our own online store, AllGoodsly.

Today, AllGoodsly offers a wide range of authentic handmade products to customers worldwide. We deliver orders internationally and use PayPal for secure and trusted payments, ensuring protection for both buyers and sellers.
